Aswan
Nubia, the gentle Nile and Abu Simbel
Aswan breathes more slowly than the rest of the country. Here the Nile widens between islands and feluccas. It's the gateway to Nubia: the Temple of Philae set on the water, the High Dam, the Aga Khan mausoleum, and further south the colossi of Abu Simbel.
